Experience the thrill of encountering honeybees in their hive during a beekeeping class – all while wearing professional-grade equipment. Experienced beekeeper Jeremy Campbell is offering a limited number of these special classes this fall for a maximum of 4 people each.
At his apiary near Paradise, Texas, Jeremy will explain to you the ins and outs of honeybee biology and beekeeping, and share his general love of these incredible pollinators.
There is one remaining date available this fall for this unique experience: November 9. Choose a booking time at 2 pm on the date that works for you, or reach to support@delveexperience.com for any questions.
Jeremy has over a decade of experience with beekeeping and has worked with dozens of bee colonies and organizations across the DFW area – and even spent a season in Australia working with queen breeders. He also has collaborated with the nonprofit Bee Informed Partnership Inc. to improve honey bee health through data-driven research.
Jeremy is known as an engaging presenter for all ages, and he’s happy to share his knowledge with fellow beekeepers and the general public alike.
Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of working closely with these incredible creatures. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and see things most people have never seen. Expect plenty of photo and video opportunities.
Perfect for individuals or small groups of up to 4 people looking to suit up and get a unique look into the secret world of honey bees and beekeeping. Great novel date idea or memorable excursion with friends or family. Also a great way to learn if you’re just getting started with beekeeping or considering launching an operation.
Suitable for adults and teenagers.
Expect to spend about 1.5 hours here, including both suiting up and checking out the bees. Lots of explanation along with question and answer time will occur before, during, and after the experience.
You will be wearing a professional grade beekeeping suit. All participants should wear close-toed shoes that are ankle length or higher to protect from grass and brush. The experience includes walking outdoors and can get warm depending upon the weather.
Tickets cannot be refunded if the event is held, but they may be transferred with notice. The experience is held outdoors, and if canceled due to inclement weather, you will be offered a choice to reschedule or refund.
Select the date and time, the number of participants for your group and “Make a Reservation”. You will be prompted to pay immediately to confirm your seat. Reach out to support@delveexperiences.com for any questions or troubles booking.
