A Homeschool Experience Crafted by Profound Foods

Profound Farms is excited to offer an immersive farm tour experience tailored for homeschool groups, and set at the farm of one of the most prominent food hubs in DFW.

During the tour, students will have the opportunity to explore our working farm and learn about sustainable and regenerative farming practices firsthand. The farm is excited to host this group and share their passion for farming and sustainability with the next generation,

What’s Included in the Tour

The tour will guide the group through hydroponic greenhouses, outdoor fields, and indoor growroom, showcasing how the farm grows a variety of crops, from herbs and vegetables to edible flowers, while caring for the environment.

The tour will be interactive, and students can learn about the importance of soil health, composting, water conservation, and the role of pollinators in the ecosystem. They’ll also see innovative techniques for growing food sustainably and hear how small family farms are helping to strengthen the local food system.

The tour will wrap up with a Q&A session, allowing students to ask questions and deepen their understanding of where their food comes from and how it’s grown. It’s an educational and fun experience designed to inspire curiosity and a love for agriculture.
