Product Description
Escape the city life with a one-hour educational farm tour and experience a short woodland hike right in the heart of Flower Mound, Texas. Enjoy a herd of 20 goats, learn about the chicken lifecycle, and discuss the benefits of grass-fed over grain-fed animals. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to gather eggs or bottle-feed a baby goat.
This experience concludes with a short, easy level, hike led by your host, along a trail to a wildflower meadow, through a lovely wooded area, and finishing at a creek nestled in the woods. You will be accompanied on your hike by the farm dogs and a few friendly and entertaining goats who scamper along with you and scramble to be the first to climb rocks along the way. You can even see some intriguing geodes found on the property.
Farm tours in the heart of Flower Mound
Texas Monarch Farm tours began during COVID lockdown when the farm owners’ children suggested their teachers and classmates would enjoy an opportunity to meet outdoors. It was such a success that friends and their families heard about it and wanted to come too.
Logistics for tour and short hike
All ages welcome; children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. No ticket necessary for babies age 0-2.
Because our farms are small businesses who block their schedules and make significant preparations for hosting, no refunds are available for visitors who cannot attend. However, tickets may be transferred. Tours must be a minimum of 10 people; groups that are smaller than this may be rescheduled to ensure the minimum is met. Should the farm cancel the event due to inclement weather or other, refunds or reschedules will be offered.
TO BOOK: In the booking widget, select the total number of participants ages 1+. You do not need to purchase a ticket for children 0-1, but they are welcome to join, just please leave a booking note so the host can plan accordingly. Once you select the number of tickets, you should be prompted to pay immediately to confirm your reservation. Reach out to us on chat or support@delveexperiences.com for any questions.
