Product Description
Sure Farmville-type games are fun, but a real world working farm experience can make memories for you and your friends and family. This Hutto working farm includes lovingly cared for, non-GMO fed, free-range animals including cage-free chickens, cows, sheep, guineas, a mini horse named Nilla, and an amazing docile breed of small pigs called Kunekune (pronounced kooney-kooney). Your farmer-led educational tour includes providing specially prepared treats you can feed to the animals as you learn about each.
Your experience also includes a unique opportunity to get to know the Kunekune pigs. This breed nearly went extinct in the 1970’s. If there are piglets at the time of your visit, you will get to interact with them, too. This breed is one of the most docile pigs, and Kunekunes enjoy getting attention and being petted. You can ask them to sit to get treats, and most will lay down for a belly rub.
We appreciate your respect for our animals and taking directions from your tour guide. We recommend wearing close-toed, mud-tolerant shoes and encourage you to bring your own water for this one hour tour. We have onsite parking for you. Our tour fee is $50 for two people. Additional guests are $20 for each adult and $15 for children.
