Celebrate the seasons together at the farm with a delicious four-course, hyper-local harvest dinner, complete with pairings. This farm-to-table event lets you meet and converse with local chefs, farmers, and neighbors about the ways we can create a more healthy and resilient food system together.
Sister Grove Farm welcomes you to join a night of community and leisure at the Sister Grove Farm Pavilion and Kitchen with a four-course dinner highlighting the benefits of a local food system model for here in north Texas.
For this harvest dinner, they are welcoming back Chef Marco Rios of Heritage Butchery and Barbecue and are delighted to introduce to the farm Chef Mollie Guerra of Chef Mollie G Custom Catering. The menu will include Dry Aged Rib provided by Hartley Ranch with other offerings from Reeves Family Farm, Mean Microgreens, Profound Foods, Freedom Acres Farm, and Three Rivers. Wine pairings from Chateau Wright from the Davis Mountains will be offered with each course.
The dinner will also feature conversation with local farmers. Brent Barry and Susan Cox of Stout Creek Farms will share stories of growing their family-owned and operated regenerative farm and ranch on 600 sprawling acres in Hopkins County. And Jeff and Lee Bednar of Profound Microfarms and Profound Foods will inspire you with the ways they are collaborating with others in the area to promote a more sustainable food system in north Texas.
Deadline to register for the dinner is February 20; space is limited to 40 people and tickets are $150 per per person. Please note any dietary restrictions when registering.
