Delve Experiences is expanding into Kansas City. We’re building collaborations that help families rediscover farm traditions, orchards thrive, and communities gather around local agriculture.
🍎 Why Kansas City
Kansas City has always been shaped by farms and orchards. Apple picking, cider pressing, pumpkin harvests, and family farm visits aren’t just seasonal attractions—they’re part of the region’s identity.
Today, many families are several generations removed from farm life. At the same time, there’s a renewed hunger for authentic connection: families want to share meaningful experiences, farms want to diversify and stay viable, and communities want to keep traditions alive.
Delve helps bring those threads back together.
🌾 What We’ve Built Already
Since launching in 2023, Delve has:
- Welcomed 5,000+ guests to farm experiences in Texas
- Generated $50,000+ in new farm revenue
- Built a network of 30+ farm partners
- Earned dozens of 5-star reviews from families, teachers, and community leaders
Now we’re preparing to bring the same model to Kansas City—starting with orchards, pumpkin farms, and working family farms that embody the region’s traditions.
🤝 Ways to Collaborate
We’re inviting farms, schools, and community groups in the KC region to shape this next chapter.
Opportunities include:
- Farm & Orchard Hosts: Share your farm traditions through tours, harvest events, or skill demonstrations. We manage bookings and outreach; you focus on what you do best.
- Schools & Homeschool Networks: Enrich learning with on-farm experiences that connect science, food, and community. From orchard walks to farm skills, we provide ready-to-book programs that leave lasting impressions.
- Community Organizations & Foundations: Sponsor farm days, field trips, or seasonal programs that make heritage experiences accessible to more families. Together, we can extend the impact of local agriculture beyond the farm gate.
📚 What This Looks Like
Here’s what we’ve seen elsewhere—and what KC can build on:
- Goat Milking on a Family Farm: Students learn to hand-milk and see how animals are raised. One parent shared, “It was so fun, and it was educational for my kids as well.”
- Cheesemaking at a Ranch: Families turn fresh milk into mozzarella, linking ranching heritage with food science.
- Farmstead Animal Encounters: Children feed goats, meet chickens, and care for sheep. Teachers note gains in empathy, vocabulary, and respect for farming.
- Orchards & Harvest Traditions: In Kansas City, these practices already run deep. With support, we can bring more families back to orchards and farms to learn, celebrate, and connect.
🌟 Why This Matters for Kansas City
- Heritage preserved: Keep orchard and farm traditions alive for future generations.
- Community strengthened: Farms become gathering places for families and neighbors.
- Farms supported: Agritourism provides income and resilience for local producers.
- Families reconnected: Children and parents rediscover agriculture together.
