Who we are

Delve Experiences is a Texas-based business on a mission to grow educational agritourism. We offer a web platform to help connect visitors with agritourism experiences and locally made products that support our partner producers. We also support producers with resources, marketing, and IT. We are driven by a mission for social good and working toward B Corp status. Our website address is https://delveexperiences.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect data to offer information that may be of interest to you on educational agritourism, and to help grow understanding of the impacts of educational agritourism. When you complete a webform, register for our website, or use our site, you are consenting to this data collection.
Examples of data we track and how we use it include:
  • Address: Used to find experiences near you, to let producers in the area know there are people looking for experiences, and to estimate taxes or shipping for purchases
  • Demographics data: Used to understand who is seeking experiences and what they're interested in
  • Listings and products viewed: Used to show similar listings and products that may interest you
  • Purchase history: Used to verify reviews, track trends in purchases across groups of people, and suggest additional experiences or products that may interest you
We'll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you're browsing our site.
We use the data we collect to complete bookings and purchases, build listings, and suggest products of interest. To improve user experience and support the growth of agritourism at large as part of our organizational mission, we analyze trends and impacts of data on producers, visitors, and other organizations who serve this market. Any data used for research purposes is anonymized and aggregate.

Comments and reviews

Visitors must be registered to leave comments. In order to leave a review, the visitor must be verified as having booked the experience or purchased the product identified in the review. When visitors leave comments on the site, including reviews, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: Privacy Policy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
For example, our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you're logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

How long we retain your data
