A reflection from Kristin Marsh Song, founder of Delve Experiences ✍️
Writing has always been how I make sense of things. With Delve, it’s become how I stay curious.
Every time I sit down to write, I’m not just recording what I know — I’m discovering what I think. Sometimes that discovery is about farming or food, sometimes it’s about people, and sometimes it’s about myself. The act of writing slows the world down just enough for me to notice how everything fits together — land, learning, community, technology, even wonder.
Working with modern tools has only deepened that sense of discovery. The back-and-forth process — refining ideas, shaping stories, tracing patterns — feels like holding a long conversation with curiosity itself. It’s taught me that reflection is a kind of fieldwork too.
That’s why I keep writing these founder notes: not to teach, but to learn — to stay rooted in the “why” behind Delve, and to share that ongoing journey with anyone who’s also trying to find meaning in the middle of a busy, beautiful, connected world.
