Every spring, something magical happens on this working ranch in North Texas: a new generation of Valais Blacknose lambs is born.
These iconic âteddy bear sheepâ are among the rarest and most beloved breeds in the worldâand you donât have to fly to Switzerland to meet them. If youâve ever wanted to see Valais lambs up close, this is your chance. đ
But thereâs a catch: these visits are extremely limited.

đ When Are Visits Available?
Lambs are typically born between March and April, but exact dates vary each year. Weâll only offer a few carefully scheduled visits once the lambs are old enough for guests.
To keep things safe and enjoyableâfor the animals, the ranch, and youâthese are small-group visits by waitlist invitation only.
â Who These Visits Are For:
This isnât a petting zoo visit. These sessions are designed for visitors ages 12 and up who are:
- đ§¶ Fiber artists and rare breed enthusiasts
- đ Aspiring shepherds or livestock learners
- đ· Curious visitors who appreciate animals with care and respect
Weâll share plenty of photos afterward, but thereâs no cell phone photography during your visitâso you can stay present and enjoy the moment.
